Festival Orchestra
20th Edition – Alfredo de Saint Malo International Academic Music Festival 2026
The Festival Orchestra is the heart of the academic program of the Alfredo de Saint Malo Festival. Since its inception in 2007, this Festival has offered more than 230 concerts, attracted more than 63,000 attendees, and showcased Panamanian musical talent internationally.
In addition to its cultural impact, the Festival Orchestra has established itself as a rite of passage for today’s exceptional young musicians. It has brought together emerging talents with world-renowned conductors and soloists, earning it a solid reputation in orchestral training.
For its 20th edition, the ASMF Orchestra will feature approximately 100 young musicians between the ages of 14 and 30, who will receive intensive training from renowned national and international teachers. These mentors will prepare the musicians for 12 days of rehearsals and performances, led by distinguished global stage directors.
