Dr. Lacey Hays
. Dr. Lacey Hays is a renowned trumpeter with an impressive international career that includes performances in Europe, North America, Central America, and South America. As co-founder and director of DFW Brass, she has performed in a variety of orchestral and chamber music settings, building a versatile and dynamic career.
She has performed at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, the Verdi Opera House in Italy, the Alfredo Festival in Saint Malo, Panama, the International Brass Festival in Mexico, the Young Euro Festival in Germany, and classical music festivals in Austria.
Her work also includes appearances on albums and in audiovisual productions. Among these, his appearance in the documentary *The Legacy*, alongside the Youth Orchestra of the Americas, stands out; there he performs the lead trumpet part in Bartók’s *Concerto for Orchestra* under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel (Lobo Productions).
Based in North Texas, Dr. Hays is active as an independent artist and is a member of the Blast of Brass Ensemble. In the academic sphere, he is a member of the faculty at Mountain View College and North Central Texas College, and also offers master classes and private lessons at Flower Mound High School.
