This musical group was created in 1971, and integrated by renowned folk musicians. Over the years he has had several generations of artists. It is currently directed by musician and composer Acevez Núñez. Among the objectives of the group is the promotion and dissemination of traditional Panamanian music and popular expressions. The instruments used are those of the Panamanian folk orchestra: drums, box, churuca, maracas, accordion, violin and marjoram. The repertoire contains tenths, marjoram, drum, shouts, salomas, corridors, danzones, points and cumbias, among others.
